We Take Safety Seriously
Shearer considers accident prevention to be of primary importance in all activities in the office or on a job site. Shearer’s goal is zero accidents and to provide a work environment free from recognized and unanticipated hazards. To accomplish this, Shearer integrates safety into every stage of a project, from pre-bidding to project completion.
Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) is a part of every operation. The personal safety and health of each employee of Shearer is of primary importance. The prevention of occupationally induced injuries and illnesses is of such consequence that it takes precedence over operating productivity. No job is too big or too small to devote the time and resources needed to provide a safe work environment. Shearer provides and manages programs that protect the safety and health of all employees. Our corporate safety program complies with Title 29 CFR Part 1910 and Part 1926 Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and any client-specific requirements.
